Keep it simple Before Camp Four clear steps to complete before your teen travels.
02

Complete the Official Form

Submit participant, emergency, medical, dietary, consent and confirmed travel information directly to Empower U.

03

Pack and Prepare

Review the official packing list, clearly label personal items and medication, and write answers to the three pre-camp questions on paper.

04

Prepare Travel Documents

Use the parent consent template as a starting point. The button creates your own Google Doc copy so the master template stays clean.

Prepare them for the journey Flight Ready Arrival forms, travel information and carry-on essentials for teens travelling without a parent beside them.
Arriving in Australia

Prepare for the Passenger Card

Most travellers complete an Incoming Passenger Card in English before arrival. Give your teen a simple written note with their passport and flight details, intended Australian address, Australian contact and emergency contact details. Remind them to answer the customs and quarantine questions accurately and ask the crew or group leader if they need help.

Returning to Bali

Visa Check + All Indonesia

Parents should check that their teen has the correct visa or re-entry permission for Indonesia. Complete the official All Indonesia arrival declaration from three days before arrival, then save the QR code to the teen's phone and send a backup copy to the travelling adult.

Carry-on essentials

Help Them Pack for the Flight

  • Snacks, plus a card or some money for food and drinks.
  • An empty refillable water bottle. Full liquids may not pass international security.
  • Downloaded shows, music or games and headphones. Entertainment is not guaranteed on every aircraft.
  • Phone and device chargers, plus an Australian Type I power adaptor.
  • A clearly labelled power bank in carry-on baggage only. Jetstar permits a maximum of two and does not allow their use or charging onboard.
  • A warm jumper, socks or light blanket in case the cabin feels cold.

Travel and airline requirements can change, so parents should recheck the official links and Jetstar guidance shortly before departure.
